peace, freedom, interconnectedness and wholeness.

A seminar which uses reason and meditation to challenge our world view. Profound concepts and new research have moved science closer to the views of ancient sages about the nature of the universe, consciousness and life. Yet most of us still hold on to materialist beliefs: that we are separate bodily beings, that consciousness is a secretion of the brain, and that the world exists “out there.” In this seminar, we will challenge old presuppositions about who we are and how we know, and examine the relation of experience and reality in the light of ancient wisdom and modern reason. We will explore ways to revision our views through imaginative meditations. Finally, we will discuss the consequences of shifting our view: peace, freedom, interconnectedness and wholeness.
